Hamas denies threat to Arafat

The Hamas has denied that it has threatened to kill Palestinian Authority leader Yasser Arafat if he makes peace with Israel.

A Hamas spokesman said that the movement was opposed to making peace but that it was not planning to take action against Arafat.
