Pipe bomb defused near Bethlehem

IDF sappers this afternoon safely defused a pipe bomb planted by the roadside at Al-Khader junction near Bethlehem, Israel Radio reported.

In other incidents today, troops were fired upon at Ayosh junction north of Ramallah, after soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas at stonethrowers. No casualties were reported.

Palestinian youths also threw stones at soldiers at Bani Naim junction near Hebron. There were no casualties.
